Top 10 High – Profile Chinese 90’s Actresses

Yang Zi ( born 6 November 1992), also known as Andy Yang, is a Chinese actress. She started out as a child actress in “Home With Kids”. She is regarded as one of the “Four Dan actresses of the post-90s Generation”, along with Zheng Shuang, Zhou Dongyu and Guan Xiaotong.

  1. Vicky Chen Wen-chi

Vicky Chen Wen-chi (born 10 August 2003), better known by her stage name Wen Qi is a Taiwanese actress.

In 2017, she won the Golden Horse Award for Best Supporting Actress for the film The Bold, the Corrupt, and the Beautiful and became the youngest actress who was nominated Golden Horse Award for Best Leading Actress for the film Angels Wear White when she was 14 years old.

She was also chosen by Southern Metropolis Daily as one of the “Four Dan actresses of the post-90s Generation”, along with Zheng Shuang, Guan Xiaotong and Yang Zi. In 2016, she won the Golden Horse Award for Best Leading Actress with her performance in Soul Mate.

Lin Yun first made a splash at the box office playing the titular role in the wildly popular Stephen Chow film, THE MERMAID. The breakout star of 2016 received the Rising Star Award at the New York Asian Film Festival.

Ouyang Nana (born June 15, 2000) is a Taiwanese musician and actress. She is best known for her coming of age romance film, Secret Fruit and the cyber punk action film, Bleeding Steel.

In 2012, Ouyang became the youngest cellist to give a solo recital debut in National Concert Hall of Taiwan. In 2013, Ouyang began attending the Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia. She won the Best Actress award at the China TV Golden Eagle Award for her performance due to played the leading role in Pretty Li Huizhen. She next starred in fantasy romance drama Eternal Love, which gained explosive popularity in China as well as internationally.

Zheng Shuang (born 22 August 1991) is a Chinese actress. She was also chosen by Southern Metropolis Daily as one of the “Four Dan actresses of the post-90s Generation” , along with Zhou Dongyu, Guan Xiaotong and Yang Zi.
